The Stranraer Show

The Stranraer Show is one of Dumfries and Galloways most popular annual events.  The show is organised and hosted by Stranraer & Rhins of Galloway Agricultural Society in order to showcase the best of local livestock, agricultural products and rural crafts.

Plans are well underway for the 166th Stranraer Show taking place on Wednesday 28th July 2010.  Visitors will enjoy a large display of the best livestock the region has to offer as well as entertainment from Jez Avery's motorbike and Buggy Stunt Show, a Can't Cook, Won't Cook Competition, a Chainsaw Carving demonstration and much, much more.  There will be live music on Show afternoon provided by Tommy Truesdale and the Sundowners.
