The Stranraer Show

The Stranraer Show is one of Dumfries and Galloways most popular annual events.  The show is organised and hosted by Stranraer & Rhins of Galloway Agricultural Society in order to showcase the best of local livestock, agricultural products and rural crafts. 

 

We look forward to welcoming you to the 2009 Show.  Main attractions include a excellent display of cattle, sheep, goats and horses, over 80 trade stands, a large craft and horticultural marquee, the Cheshire Dog Display Team, a cookery demonstration by Douglas Lisi, Highland Dancing from Wallace School of Dance, Glenluce Vintage Tractors, a hand shearing demonstration by Scottish Hand Shearing Champion David Ferguson and lots, lots more.

How to get there

Take the A75 into Stranraer, on reaching the 30 mile per hour limit at Stranraer continue on and London Road playing fields are located about half a mile on the right opposite Stair Park.
